what is AUTOMATIC MOJO?

 Automatic Mojo is an upbeat, fun and entertaining band made up of four of Detroit’s finest musicians.  Doug and Jef initially met up years ago in a famous Detroit recording studio that Artie Fields owned called The Alhambra Burlesque Theater to do a demo of "Blue-Eyed" Soul music.  From that humble beginning, the current Automatic Mojo was spawned.  In 1989, Billy joined the group and for a short spell (nearly 19 years) we were known around the Motor City as The The Space Cadets.  (We chose to retire that name when we found it was registered to a XXX show based in the UK.)  While we have known and performed with Chris many times over the past 20 years, in 2008, she officially became the final ‘Mojo’ member.   

Put it all together and you have a great band with a long and successful history of delivering solid performances and satisfying audiences
